Southbound 400 is a 3 Stage, 400 mile, ultra relay race.

Each team is comprised of 8 runners including a minimum of 2 self-identifying female runners.

Each team must be accompanied by 2 crew members (maximum of 4) for a total of up to 12 individuals per team.
